We’re looking for an Associate Director or Senior Manager to be a leader in our Corporate Services team in Guernsey. You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, private equity and real estate investment structures, while leading a team. This role suits someone with strong technical expertise in unregulated corporate structures and a collaborative leadership style. As an Associate Director you would sit on the boards of the secondary licensees which provide director/trustees to client entities.
Key Responsibilities- Team Development:
Be a visible, supportive leader, offering coaching, mentoring, and regular feedback - Client Oversight and Management:
Lead communications with clients and advisors, ensuring service delivery meets expectations - Technical Governance:
Oversee complex transactions with legal, tax, and fiduciary considerations - Operational Management:
Drive efficiency, manage invoicing, and monitor debt control across the team - Project Coordination:
Participate in Guernsey and Group-wide initiatives as required, ensuring deadlines and outcomes are met - Compliance & Risk:
Ensure adherence to internal procedures and regulatory standards - Performance Management:
Engage fully in appraisals and development planning for team members - Industry Awareness:
Stay informed on market trends and their impact on clients and internal processes
- Experience:
Proven track record in a senior client-facing role within the fiduciary or funds sector. Experience of acting as a director (client director role) - Leadership:
Strong team management and mentoring capabilities - Communication:
Clear, confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills - Commercial Awareness:
Solid understanding of relevant markets and client needs - Technical Expertise:
Comfortable managing complex structures and transactions - Professional
Qualification:
STEP, ACCA, ICSA or equivalent
