Position: AC2RC Project Manager
Location: Town of Poland

Are you passionate about helping Transitioning Service Members (TSMs) with their transition goals? Do you enjoy a start-up environment and are self-starter who can drive successful outcomes? Tenova, LLC (Tenova) is a self-certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) focused on infusing teamwork and innovation into today’s world. We are recruiting a dedicated remote Active to Reserve Component (AC2RC) Project Manager for a high-profile pilot program.

This individual will be responsible for supporting strategic initiatives, creating and managing long term goals and projects, and supporting special TSM populations to find employment opportunities and connections as they depart from the U.S. Military. This is a full-time, remote position that may require occasional travel.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as AC2RC Project Manager responsible for marketing, identifying, screening, determining eligibility and providing military transition support for TSMs interested in the AC2RC Program.
  • Tracks and manages candidate experience through pipeline; communicating regularly to ensure positive experience and maximum conversion of interested TSMs.
  • Communicates contract issues to Service Retention Personnel and Leaders when necessary to ensure interested, eligible TSMs can participate.
  • Updates SOPs and samples transition support provided by career coaches to ensure all participants receive a similar “white glove” transition experience
  • Identifies and coordinates with transition resources (non-profits, external and internal) to ensure a “white glove” transition experience for TSMs participating in the program.
  • Provides one-to-one transition support to service member participants when required, ensuring all participants find post-military career success.
  • Builds pipeline of employer partners across industry to facilitate employment opportunities for participants.
  • Manages part-time career coaches to maximize candidate experience in alignment with budget expectations.
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about progress, accomplishments, risks, and issues.
  • Develops strong relationships with partners, employers, and customers.
  • Actively participates in marketing of the program via social media, email, content/collateral creation and other channels.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects and programs.
  • Ensure goals are met in areas that include but are not limited to customer satisfaction, quality, and project performance.
  • Ability to engage with participants after normal business hours when necessary.
Skills, Knowledge, Expertise
  • 3+ years of experience managing a large candidate or client pipeline.
  • 5+ years of total experience working with TSMs or veterans in a recruiting, hiring, veteran programs or transition assistance environment.
  • The knowledge and ability to work with and guide TSMs through the entire military transition process from personal experience.
  • Experience working with and managing a cross-functional, matrixed team.
  • Acts as a team player, maintaining a collaborative and positive environment.
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate and interact with stakeholders, partners, and customers.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Excellent ability to communicate across different groups and levels within the organization, being an active listener and a concise and accurate speaker/writer.
  • Passion for helping transition service members find post-military success.
  • Active on Linked In; understanding fundamentals of the platform, how to create a professional profile and the tools it provides its’ users.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Cyber, IT or Tech Industry (preferred)
