Position Summary:

Zinc Health Services has an opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Business Project Manager. Zinc, as a GPO and affiliate of CVS Health, is tasked with delivering new innovative ways to reduce the cost and maximize the value of pharmaceuticals on behalf of our clients. In this role you will utilize your project management skills to develop and drive value for the organization with a focus on value based contracting strategies that support that cost and value mission.

To be successful, you will utilize your project management, communication, and critical thinking ability. Your presentation and public speaking experience, your demonstrated track record of success with business projects or product development, as well as your experience handling multiple client/stakeholder relationships with key decision makers will be critical to your success.

The Project Manager leads and oversees the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects by defining project scope, objectives, and timelines, allocating resources, and managing project budgets. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, communicates project progress to stakeholders, and mitigates risks to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting quality standards. This is an outstanding opportunity with exposure to leadership;

Ideally, this role will be located out of Bloomington, MN or Northbrook, IL. However, a remote/work from home arrangement may be considered for a highly qualified candidate.

Primary

Responsibilities Include:

Allocates accountability by assigning clear responsibilities and expectations to project team members, ensuring effective project execution.

Analyzes the organization's project management practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance project efficiency and success.

Develops project plans, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Attends project meetings and collaborates with multiple departments, fostering cross-functional collaboration and coordination to achieve project milestones.

Communicates direction and project goals to the project team, providing clear guidance and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Conducts project evaluations and assessments, monitoring progress, identifying risks and issues, and taking corrective actions to keep projects on track.

Consolidates information from various sources, synthesizing project data and insights to provide comprehensive reports and updates to stakeholders.

Counsels and mentors project team members, providing guidance, support, and coaching to enhance their skills and performance in project management.

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of professional work experience in healthcare, managed care, health plans, or similar setting.

Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly with a diverse range of stakeholders. Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills

Mastery of problem solving and decision-making skills

Mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills

Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree preferred

Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) are preferred

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is:$82,940.00 - $This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
