The East Coast Quality Assurance and Safety Manager assists management in establishing, developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective QMS in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. Provides guidance to the Program Management Office (PMO) for site-level implementation of the Safety, Health, and Environmental Management system safety programs. Assists Top Management and Site Management in planning, developing, establishing, implementing, and maintaining an approved Quality Manual compliant with the Statement of Work and QMS elements.
Provides technical support for Quality personnel and site management in the approved IEMS and other required systems. Develops and implements audit schedules in coordination with the customer, site requirements, and CDRL A005. Supervises, evaluates, and directs site Quality Assurance and Safety Evaluators at East coast sites. Position requires flexibility as duties and responsibilities may be adjusted to meet business, customer, and contractual requirements.
Required Travel: 30%
This role is central to ensuring excellence in both quality and safety at the site.
- Reports directly to the NITE Quality Assurance/Safety, Health and Environmental Operations Manager
- Provides guidance to the Program Management Office for site-level implementation of the Safety, Health, and Environmental Management system safety programs.
- Ability to write professional reports, business correspondence, and technical procedures.
- Assists in monitoring all aspects of contract performance against established and agreed-upon metrics. Enforces compliance of operations with safety rules, procedures, policies, governmental and OSHA regulations.
