Job DescriptionGlobal CEO / Managing Director / COO remote job opening for a small independent company ready to grow after recent investment. The company is renowned in relation to FMCG / CPG, health, wellness, fitness, supplements, apparel, with a team of fewer than 10 and an ambition to grow revenues significantly over the next 2-5 years.
Full time direct hire is the preference with equity and LTIP; part-time / fractional candidates will be considered with view to it becoming full time in the future.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our client through its next phase of growth. This role is positioned for someone with a strong background in operations or marketing, ideally a proven CEO or Managing Director or Operations Director ready to take the next step. Over the first 3-12 months, this role will blend CEO and COO responsibilities, working closely with the Founder CEO, who will transition to a Chairman role, to determine the ideal leadership team and organizational design.
- Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement strategic plans to scale the company in alignment with the mission and vision. - Operational Excellence:
Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments; streamline processes to support rapid growth. - Team Leadership:
Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. - Financial Management:
Oversee financial performance, budgets, and forecasting; ensure financial health and profitability. - Business Development:
Identify and pursue new opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand reach and impact. - Product Development:
Collaborate with product teams to innovate and enhance offerings in mindfulness, wellness, health, supplements, personal growth, coaching, events, and consumer goods. - Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, investors, and the board of directors.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role (CEO, COO, Executive Operations Director, or MD), preferably within wellness, health, consumer goods/services; D2C/B2C background is mandatory.
- Demonstrated success in scaling a business and driving revenue growth.
- Strong operational and financial acumen with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for mindfulness, wellness, and personal growth.
- Degree and MBA preferred.
