Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager with strong experience in commercial doors, frames, and hardware
. In this role, you will oversee project execution from award to closeout, coordinating with internal departments and external partners to ensure each job is delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. This is a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

Project Scheduling & Coordination

  • Partner with estimating and operations teams to plan and schedule awarded projects.
  • Manage multiple construction projects of varying scale concurrently.

Change Order Management

  • Generate accurate change orders and directives using industry software tools.
  • Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and distribution for all modifications.

Procurement Oversight

  • Coordinate material purchases and delivery timelines.
  • Work with procurement personnel to maintain schedule alignment.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Maintain clear communication with architects, contractors, clients, and internal teams.
  • Provide regular progress updates and address challenges proactively.

Project Execution & Oversight

  • Monitor schedules, budgets, production milestones, installation progress, and closeout tasks.
  • Ensure work aligns with quality expectations and project specifications.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare detailed progress reports and maintain organized project files.
  • Keep all documents current and accessible to relevant participants.
Requirements

Experience & Education

  • 5+ years managing commercial door and hardware projects, or a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management with relevant experience.

Technical Skills

  • Experience with project or change-management software (Emullion or comparable).
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and related tools.

Organizational Strength

  • Strong planning, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

Communication Skills

  • Clear, professional communication and strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.

Problem-Solving

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
