Brand Manager – Jelly, Jams & Spreads
Join the Welch’s team as a Brand Manager supporting our Jelly, Jams and Spreads portfolio, one of our critical growth platforms.
Position SummaryWe are looking for a Brand Manager to manage strategy, leadership, and performance of the Jelly, Jams and Spreads platform. This role builds, executes a three‑year strategic roadmap and drives growth for the portfolio.
Where You’ll WorkThe position is based out of our Waltham, MA headquarters. The company schedule includes three days in office and remote work on Thursdays/Fridays with additional flex days.
What You’ll Do- Develop and execute overall strategic direction and communicate to leadership, sales and operational teams.
- Formulate short‑term and long‑term business objectives, collaborating closely with internal teams, external partners and agencies.
- Plan and manage marketing campaigns, monitor in‑market performance to meet objectives.
- Oversee platform business reporting, IMC budgets, P&Ls, forecasts and adjust plans to achieve profit, volume and net sales growth targets.
- Monitor competitive activity and develop contingency plans to protect market position.
- Use consumer insights and analysis to identify ‘white space’ opportunities and translate them into key initiatives.
- Prioritize strategic initiatives and project resources to drive impactful growth.
- Lead cross‑functional teams and align them with organizational priorities.
- Develop and coach one direct report.
- Occasional travel up to five percent of the time.
- Consumer‑centric leader with a strong drive, passion and self‑motivation.
- Strategic thinker with deep understanding of business dynamics and market trends.
- Highly skilled in analyzing consumer behaviors and translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Proactive problem solver balancing analytical rigor and creative thinking.
- Results‑driven and focused on delivering business objectives.
- Collaborative leader adept at cultivating strong internal partnerships.
- Influential at all levels, tailoring communication for diverse audiences.
- Project management expert with a proven track record of delivering complex initiatives.

- BS/BA required; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years developing and commercializing new products and platforms.
- CPG industry experience strongly preferred, specifically in Food and Beverage.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $150,000 annually for US-based employees.
