Deputy Care Home Manager – Elderly Care Home – Uxbridge / Slough

£35,000 per annum | Full-Time | Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to join a luxury residential elderly care home in Uxbridge, Greater London. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in elderly care homes, residential care services, and care home management who have previously worked in Deputy Manager, Team Manager, Care Manager, or Senior Management roles within elderly care.

Our care home is high calibre, beautifully presented, and well-established, delivering outstanding standards of person-centred care for older people.

• Support the Registered Care Home Manager with the day-to-day operational management of the care home
• Lead, manage, and motivate care staff, senior carers, and team leaders
• Maintain full CQC compliance, inspections readiness, audits, and care quality standards
• Ensure delivery of high-quality elderly care, residential care, and dementia care
• Assist with staff recruitment, training, supervision, appraisals, and rotas
• Support safeguarding, medication management, care planning, and risk assessments
  
  Step in as Acting Care Home Manager in the Manager’s absence

• Proven experience in an elderly residential care home or nursing home
• Previous experience as a Deputy Care Home Manager, Assistant Manager, Team Manager, Senior Care Manager, or Care Supervisor
• Strong leadership, people management, and communication skills
• Excellent understanding of CQC regulations, compliance, and quality assurance
• Passion for elderly care, residential care services, and high-standard care delivery
