Aviation Supervisor

Fox Trot Aviation Services is seeking buttery hard‑working, dedicated Aviation Supervisor who enjoys building a rock‑steady team and managing quality service, cost management.

Based out of McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS), this location requires flexible availability, including weekends and some holidays.

1 – 3 years of management or supervisory experience preferred. Willingness to perform very physical work and an open schedule are required.

The role is responsible for reliable quality service for our customers (85% cleaning work / 15% office work). Lead daily cleanings to successful customer sign‑off and meet Fox Trot standards.

• Lead cabin cleanings practitioner detailing the cockpit тут, galley, lavatory, and passenger seating area.
• Clean the exterior of aircraft, sometimes outside in inclement weather.
• Clean facilities to a high level of detail at locations that require it.
• Perform cabin walks on each aircraft to the checklist standard for quality control.
• Organize the team to maximize each labor hour and clean most effectively.
• Ensure safety is upheld to the highest standards as work proceeds.

Success metric: high cabin scores and high internal and external audit scores.

Maintain cost metrics and paperwork to ensure profitability and compliance.

• Maintain a weekly and monthly staff schedule (5–15 team members) aligned with Fox Trot labor metrics.
• Ensure the team has adequate hours at work to retain them.
• Keep full records of badging compliance with airport rules.
• Fill out HIT forms as hazards are identified.
• Complete online forms and upload signed do lists throughout the night.
• Take stock inventory and place orders with the logistics manager.

Success metric: twofold – 100% close out form, checklist, and debrief form compliance; labor metric adherence within tolerances on the pulse sheet.

Build a rock‑steady team, selfie communication, and collaboration with the home office.

• Maintain positive, daily communication with the team.
• Set elevation goals (development plans) for each team member with the Operations Manager.
• Train team members in quality work, checklist use, and safety.
• Work with back office to post ads, interview and hire team members based on our values of GRIT, Solidarity, Client Focus, Safety, and Accountability.
• Complete disciplinary forms to document employee actions.
• Advocate for raises for quality team members.
• Help other teams and drive to other locations to ensure network‑wide strength.

Success metric: less thanसा 35% annual full‑time turnover at the location.

The Aviation Supervisor reports to the location Operations Manager; both positions ultimately report to a Program Manager.

• Lifting up to 50 lbs, bending and twisting.
• Cleaning to a high level of detail up to 8 hours per day.
• Medically cleared to operate heavy machinery and perform all physical work.
• Excellent communication; available by cell phone with a consistent number 24/7.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work.
• Pass a basic background check.

Job Type: Full‑time.

Pay: $21.00 – $22.00 per hour.
