VP of Sales Remote Job Duties :

  • Build, lead and manage a top-flight sales team :
  • Ensure “A”- level talent across all sales territories. Attract new talent as necessary, and remove underperformers swiftly
  • Continue to scale the team, expanding the number of sales territories.
  • A scrappy player coach who inspires and motivates that does not bring a sense of entitlement to the role and can roll up his / her sleeves as needed to ensure results
  • Partner effectively with all internal stake holders :
    Be a thoughtful partner to his / her direct reports in determining how to grow the business
  • Be the primary source for business intelligence and insight driving the strategic development of value added products, services and reporting with the internal executive, IT and operational teams
  • Will design and develop metrics, reports and analyses to drive key business decisions
  • Be an effective face for the organization :
  • Advocate for the company and inspire confidence with all external parties, including existing and potential customers
  • Conduct key account and field rep visits as needed
  • Be a convincing spokesperson for product value propositions with all current / potential customers and sales professionals
  • Maintain our core values of honesty, transparency, integrity, passion, commitment, loyalty, personal responsibility and determination
  • Results oriented :
  • Manage and lead a team of salespeople toward achievement of all revenue and profit targets
  • Ensure all compensation plans meet the goal of driving sales production toward the accomplishment of corporate goals
  • Incorporate sales methodology and process that is both measurable and scalable to drive individual and team performance
