Tek Pro Engineering is partnering with a well-established, nationally recognized electrical contractor that specializes in large-scale, complex commercial and industrial projects. Due to continued growth and a major data center initiative, they are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a long-term project in the Minooka, IL area.
This is a high-visibility role on a multi-year data center project, offering strong leadership exposure, stability, and the opportunity to work with a contractor known for delivering turnkey electrical solutions.

The Senior Project Manager will oversee all phases of a major data center electrical construction project, from preconstruction through closeout. This individual will serve as a key leader on the project, coordinating teams, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring successful delivery for the client.
While the role is structured to be home-based for planning and support,
consistent onsite presence will be expected—particularly during critical phases of the project.
- Lead and manage large-scale commercial/industrial electrical construction projects
- Oversee full project lifecycle: budgeting, scheduling, procurement, execution, and closeout
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements
- Track financial performance, change orders, and forecasting
- Drive project efficiency and successful on-time, on-budget delivery
- Senior-level Project Management experience in electrical construction
- Strong background in commercial and industrial turnkey projects
- Prior experience supporting data center projects strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage large budgets, schedules, and field teams
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to balance remote planning with onsite execution
