Position: Change Management Manager - IT
Duration: 9 months+

Description:
The Change Management manager will deliver on one of the client’s Technology Enablement & Strategy team’s top priorities, which is to Drive the transformation agenda across Tech to realize objectives, accelerate change, create repeatable processes, and bring people along. The Change Management manager will be a part of Technology Enablement & Strategy team which is a part of the office of the Chief Technology Officer.
This position will play an integral role in establishing, evangelizing, and training common methodologies, processes, and tools for developing a high successful IT organization and to ensure the global organization remains driven while workforce can maintain focus and energy amid disruption. This role will lead, direct, coordinate and provide transparency into the Technology’s cross-functional change management efforts. The role crafts global change management strategies and develops change work streams that improve employees’ change readiness and adoption of those strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and implement outstanding change management practices.
- Establishes a practical and pragmatic way of working through common standards, tools and approaches to promote efficiency and develop a superior global IT organization.
- Understands how to measure quantity and magnitude of change, and mitigation strategies to minimize organizational strain.
- Builds a communications strategy and plan to ensure all global employees are fully aware of impending changes.
- Works with HR to create mechanisms to de-emphasize old behaviors and encourage new desired ones. This process may involve redesigning jobs and defining new behavioral competencies and performance metrics.
- Identifies and provides leadership for change agents and change advocates within the team member community by involving trusted informal leaders to create employee understanding and influence organizational change.
- Performs quantitative assessment of change success and change adoption.
- Solicits feedback loops from team members to resolve success of change management activities and ensure that behavioral changes align with strategic objectives.
Training & Development
- Conducts detailed investigations to identify team members impacted by the change.
- Resolves the appropriate timing of that change.
- Conducts an environment scan to identify potential challenges for team members, such as skills gaps, doubts and uncertainties, to cultivate a positive acceptance of change.
- Tailors change management plans (training and orientation) to accommodate the needs of the different team member groups impacted.
- Educates and trains executives and the global organization about organizational change management.
- Partners with key collaborators in and outside Technology (PPM, ITS, Finance, Legal, CWS, etc) to realize the benefits of change management.
- Designs and implements a structured change management methodology to facilitate change and promote dedication to adapt to the change.
- Knows how to tailor this methodology to be culturally appropriate for the global enterprise and program.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of validated change management abilities in IT Industry.
- Experience in multi-functional areas or leading multi-functional organizational projects.
- Proficient experience in working with teams with varied strengths.
- Experience with and deep knowledge of change management methodologies, approaches and tools.
- Validated knowledge of industry-standard project management methodologies and project life cycles
- Financial knowledge to ensure that organizational change efforts are aligned with the financial perspective of the desired business benefits
