E4-E1+ car allowance
Location: Invergordon with hybrid working

About the Role
Albyn Housing Society is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Officer to provide support in delivering the repairs and maintenance service across Albyn Housing Society stock, ensuring tenants receive a high quality service and works are delivered in compliance with health and safety, EESSH, SHQS and other regulatory standards.

This hybrid position offers a mix of office and remote working, along with site visits across the Highlands.

The role includes a requirement to participate in the out‑of‑hours cover rota, providing support outside of normal working hours when required. This commitment is expected to be approximately three times per year and will be planned in advance wherever possible.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Trade or construction related qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Good ICT Skills and the ability to manage a diverse workload.
  • Experience in surveys and diagnoses of building related defects.
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Understanding of bills of quantities, building contracts, technical drawings and specifications.
  • A professional, calm and confident manner and values good governance.
  • A full UK Driving License and access to personal vehicle.
