Registered Manager

We are currently seeking a Registered Manager for a 20 bed elderly residential home based near Stevenage. They are offering the following:

Basic salary of £50k + benefits + opportunities to progress

As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of a CQC good rated home which supports elderly residents, some with mild dementia.

Duties include:

• Conducting audits and updating care plans
• Organising, training and managing staff (currently 30)
• Working in conjunction with the Deputy Manager to ensure high standards are achieved
• Ensure safeguarding
• Speak to medical professionals and families

We need someone who has managed a residential care home for elderly in the past. You must have an NVQ Level 5 in care. You will be a natural leader, able to work well under pressure and be commutable to Stevenage.

It is likely that you will have worked as a Care Manager, Residential Care Manager or Registered Manager in the past.

We need someone who is able to be on‑call 1 week in 2.
