What’s it all about?As Senior Asset and Development Manager, you’ll report to the Director of Estates and take the lead on a high-impact freehold and long leasehold hotel portfolio. You’ll define and execute the short, medium and long-term property strategy, building asset‑by‑asset business plans that unlock performance, prioritise capex and maximise value from every opportunity.
You’ll drive strategic asset management from an ownership perspective, overseeing yield analysis, valuations and exit options while managing leading external advisers. You’ll identify, appraise and deliver new freehold acquisitions, steering board approvals, due diligence and negotiations end to end. Alongside this, you’ll lead development and value‑extraction initiatives, from feasibility and planning through to delivery, disposals and alternative use strategies.
You’ll also champion ESG integration across the portfolio, embedding sustainability initiatives that enhance asset resilience and generate new revenue streams. As a key custodian of estate risk and governance, you’ll manage risk registers, support valuations and refinancing, and provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders and the Property Committee.

Commercially astute and highly analytical, you excel in lease renegotiations, understand the Landlord and Tenant Act, and negotiate with confidence.
