What We Offer
  • A competitive salary reflecting the responsibility of the role

  • Opportunities for professional development
  • A key leadership role in an independent, community-focused practice where your work genuinely matters
Main Duties of the Job What the role is really like

You’ll be dealing with:

  • Staff/HR queries and support needs
  • Internal and external communications
  • Patient access and service pressures
  • Finance, compliance, and governance requirements
  • New ideas, new challenges and the occasional curveball

You’ll need to use judgement, common sense, and our shared values to decide what matters most, what can wait, and how to resolve issues sensibly, safely, and kindly.

You’ll be busy but surrounded by a committed and hard-working team. You will genuinely have the freedom to make a difference: to how our practice runs, how our staff feel, and how our community experiences care.

This role might be for you if:
  • You enjoy variety and don't mind handling lots of moving parts
  • You're comfortable making decisions when there isn't a perfect answer
  • You care deeply about person-centred care, not just targets and processes
  • You believe empowering staff leads to better care for patients
  • You're organised, calm under pressure and able to see the bigger picture
  • You have excellent IT capabilities and can drive digital and technological innovation in the practice of
  • You like working closely with clinicians and being part of a leadership team
  • You're community-minded and value relationships over hierarchy
  • You're curious, open to new ideas, and interested in improving how things are done

You don't need to know everything, but you do need good judgement, strong values and the confidence to lead with kindness and clarity.

About us

Our mission is to deliver person-focused care that is accessible, sustainable and deeply rooted in the needs of our community.

We are committed to empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their health by providing compassionate support and clear instructions.

Through a holistic and inclusive approach, we strive to promote well-being, respect individual values and build lasting relationships that support better health outcomes for all.

At Mosborough Health Centre, you will be a trusted leader, problem-solver, and collaborator. We're an independent, partner-led practice with over 7000 patients, which means decisions are made locally, relationships matter, and good ideas are listened to.

You’ll work with supportive GP partners who value openness, collaboration, and common sense. We trust our Practice Manager to lead, to challenge when needed, and to help us do things better, not just keep things ticking over.

Our team is close-knit, committed, and community focused. We care about our work and about each other.

We're also forward-looking. We embrace training, research, and new ways of working where they genuinely improve care and sustainability. You’ll have the freedom to innovate, improve systems, and shape how the practice develops, while staying grounded in what our patients and community actually need.

If you want a role where you can build relationships, make meaningful changes, and see the impact of your work every day, this is that place.
