Hybrid – Office-based Mondays & Thursdays, remote working other days

We are recruiting for a skilled and motivated SEND professional to join a well-established organisation delivering statutory SEND services and EHC plan coordination.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with experience in special educational needs, statutory processes, and multi-agency working, who is looking for a structured hybrid role within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Supporting statutory SEND processes in line with the SEND Code of Practice

* Managing and progressing EHC plan casework efficiently and accurately

* Working with families, schools, and professionals to coordinate assessments and plans

* Maintaining accurate digital records and case management systems

* Supporting statutory timescales and compliance requirements

* Liaising with local schools and partner agencies

* Delivering high-quality administrative and coordination support across SEND services

Essential Requirements

* Excellent IT and digital skills

* Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

* Strong organisational and communication skills

* Ability to manage complex casework and competing priorities

* Confident working within statutory frameworks and regulated environments

* Willingness to work onsite in Barnsley town centre on Mondays and Thursdays

Desirable Experience

* Knowledge of SEND and the SEND Code of Practice

* Experience with in SEND services or SEN casework

* Experience using IDOX EHC Hub

* Knowledge of local schools and education provision

* Experience working in education, local authority, or public sector environments
