We have an exciting opportunity for a Governance Lead to join the team within our Clinical and Governance department. Livity Life works in partnership with the local authority to supply TEC solutions to support people in their day‑to‑day life.
This TEC service provides the assessment of service users' care technology needs all the way through to the installation, maintenance and review of technology equipment.
We are seeking a candidate to provide strategic leadership for quality, risk, governance and regulatory compliance across the organisation. This role ensures that the Technology Enabled Care service (Monitoring, Installation, Assessment & Response) meets TSA accreditation, ISO
9001, ISO
45001, ISO
14001 and all relevant legislative and clinical governance standards. The postholder drives continuous improvement, organisational resilience and ensures service standards are consistently met across all 17 TEC sites and assurance to the Board.
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Accreditation- Lead the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure alignment to ISO and TSA standards.
- Oversee internal and external audit programmes, ensuring action plans are delivered.
- Chair governance meetings and report performance to the Executive Team/Board.
- Own the corporate risk management framework and risk register.
- Lead incident management, root‑cause investigations and organisational learning.
- Maintain business continuity and emergency planning capability for the ARC and 17 sites.
- Lead organisational governance including policies, compliance frameworks, and assurance reporting.
- Ensure safeguarding, clinical governance and service quality processes are robust and well embedded.
- Develop annual quality improvement plans.
- Analyse performance data, identify trends and drive sustainable improvements.
- Provide visible leadership across all sites, promoting a culture of safety, accountability and quality.
- Coach and develop Quality, Compliance and Data Protection teams.
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Health/Social Care, Business, Governance, Quality Management).
- Lead auditor qualification (ISO
9001 or similar) – essential. - Postgraduate qualification in risk, quality, or governance – desirable.
- Leadership/management qualification – desirable.
Training in incident investigation or RCA – desirable.
- Senior leadership experience in quality, risk or governance within TEC, health, social care, ARC, housing or regulated services.
- Demonstrable experience managing ISO 9001, ISO 45001, or ISO 14001 systems.
- Experience contributing to or leading TSA accreditation (Monitoring, Installation, Assessment & Response).
- Strong experience managing corporate and operational risk frameworks.
- Experience of incident investigation, complaints management and root‑cause analysis.
- Experience working across complex, multisite organisations.
- Experience working with senior leaders and Boards.
- £50,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience
- £6,000 car allowance
- Monday to Friday 40 hours – 08.30 – 17.00 Remote work available
- Up to 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
