Position: Resource Manager (Permanent)
Profile:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Resource manager to join our CEFA account in Southeast England. (Remote working with occasional site visits - 37.5 hrs per week)

Resource Manager plays an important part in supporting the CEFA Operations Team in the efficient and effective and cost-effective provision of examination delivery resource and technical report compliance to ensure the successful delivery of the CEFA project. To undertake People Manager duties, ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of team members.

This role offers you the unique opportunity to work with Amey, who have worked continuously with Network Rail delivering aspects of the CEFA contracts since 2009.

Shaping the future of our service delivery and making a tangible difference to transport infrastructure throughout the UK.

You will be responsible for:

· Support the Regional Manager and Programme Manager with the creation, development and enhancement of the baseline programme through the Planning robustness process, providing accurate forecasts for resource capacity and needs in line with programme requirements.

· Support the implementation of site audits, inspections and trials as appropriate.

· Ensure that all reports are submitted to satisfy the requirements of Amey KPI’s.

· Undertake a people manager role, ensuring that the Examiners are highly engaged and receive the necessary support and development.

· Ensure that safety is always the priority, promote safe working practices, and ensure full implementation and compliance with Key Processes.

We want to hear from you if you have:

· Proven rail industry experience in a Programme management, safety critical or operational related role.

· Knowledge of rail structures and examinations – Bridges, retaining walls, OPI, Culverts etc.

· Experience of managing individuals and small/medium sized work teams.

· PTS

· Full UK Driving Licence

Computer literate with a full working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
