Program / Project Manager, Operations Manager
We’re looking for a Capital Works Project Manager to lead major energy efficiency and decarbonisation programmes, including insulation, ASHPs, PV and wider capital works. Your work will directly help residents live in better-quality homes while supporting our goals of EPC C by 2030 and net zero by 2050.
This is a hybrid role based in our office in High Wycombe, Bucks where you will work for at least 2 days per week, which is particularly important in terms of colleague collaboration. We have another office in Letchworth, Herts and some travel to sites with the remainder at home/remote.

WhatYou’ll Do
- Deliver capital and retrofit projects from inception to completion
- Ensure compliance with H&S, CDM 2015 and Decent Homes Standard
- Build strong relationships with contractors to drive value and quality
- Monitor budgets, performance, customer satisfaction and H&S outcomes
- Bring innovation and emerging technologies into our programmes
- Visit sites, manage contractors and ensure issues are resolved quickly
- Contribute to continuous improvement across the Property directorate
- Experience delivering large-scale property capital works (5+ years)
- Strong knowledge of JCT procurement, H&S and property surveys
- Ability to lead, influence and drive high standards
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
- Passion for delivering high quality services for residents
- SMTS (Site Management Training Scheme)
- A full driving licence and regular access to a vehicle (business mileage will be paid at the 45p per mile less home to work commute in line with our policy)
- CIOB, RICS or similar professional qualification
