Stantec Project Manager - Water Sector

Stantec has a new opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Water Sector team. The role can be based from either our Manchester or Warrington offices with hybrid working allowing a mix of in‑office and home working.

Stantec is an industry‑leading consultancy within the Water Sector. We are involved in a wide variety of projects across the sector – including water resources, wastewater networks and treatment, water treatment and supply, flood mitigation, and other specialist areas. This new opportunity is part of our continued growth.

As a Project Manager you will work closely with multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects at every stage of the project lifecycle. You will build close relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to cost and to a high level of quality. Excellent client service is a key expectation of our Project Managers.

You will be responsible for a portfolio of water sector projects in the North West, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks across these projects. You will also work toward ensuring project success by managing project budgets and resources effectively.

• Experience in the water industry and prior project management experience is essential.
• Industry‑recognised project management qualification such as the APM’s Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or similar.
• Experience managing multiple deadlines and a track record of successful project management, with demonstrated proactive risk management and mitigation.
