We are seeking an experienced Estate Regeneration Project Manager to lead the delivery of regeneration schemes across the city. You will manage a diverse portfolio of projects, working with internal teams, Members, developers and Registered Providers to increase affordable housing and transform Council estates.

This is a high-impact role requiring strong project management, political awareness and stakeholder engagement skills to drive regeneration from concept through to delivery.

• Manage a portfolio of estate regeneration schemes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop and contribute to business cases, options appraisals, feasibility studies and funding bids.
• Prepare reports, Cabinet papers and governance documentation to support informed decision-making.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, holding partners to account for delivery and value for money.
• Oversee procurement processes and manage consultants and contractors to achieve positive outcomes.
• Monitor budgets, manage cashflows and ensure expenditure aligns with the HRA Business Plan.
• Lead engagement with Ward Councillors and contribute to public consultations and governance forums.

You will be a capable and organised project professional with experience delivering housing or regeneration schemes in a complex environment.

• Significant experience managing estate regeneration or comparable housing development projects.
• Strong understanding of procurement, legal processes and public sector governance.
• Experience managing project budgets and ensuring financial control and value for money.
• Ability to work confidently within a local government and political environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills across public and private sectors.
• Experience producing high-quality reports, presentations and briefings for senior audiences.
• Ability to analyse data, identify risks and manage competing priorities effectively.

• Deliver regeneration projects that transform neighbourhoods and increase affordable housing supply.
• Work closely with Members, senior leaders and key sector partners.
• Influence projects across all stages of the development lifecycle.
• Play a visible role in shaping the future of Council estates.
• Gain experience across governance, funding, procurement and strategic planning.
• Contribute to inclusive growth and improved outcomes for residents.
• Be part of a collaborative team committed to regeneration and place-making.
