Senior Project Manager

A privately owned and growing consultancy is seeking a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to join its Northampton team and play a key role in the next stage of its growth.

The business delivers high-quality Project Management and Quantity Surveying / Employer's Agent services to a prestigious and loyal client base. It is particularly well regarded for its work across industrial and commercial projects, alongside education, leisure and other sectors.

You will take ownership of projects across the full lifecycle, working closely with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality outcomes. This is a hands‑on position offering real responsibility and the opportunity to influence the continued growth and direction of the business.

You will be motivated, proactive and ambitious, with experience in a consultancy environment and a passion for delivering exceptional projects.

• Experience operating as a Project Manager within a consultancy environment
• A strong understanding of the full property development cycle, including pre-contract technical due diligence
• The confidence to lead projects, manage client relationships and report directly to clients, responding to their needs in a proactive and positive manner
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a small team, managing your own workload while supporting junior colleagues
• A sound understanding of construction technology, quality inspections and reporting
• Experience in construction procurement and contract administration, particularly under JCT contracts
• Exposure to industrial, education and/or multi-room sectors (desirable but not essential)
• A relevant professional qualification or be working towards one, with support available through the RICS or MCIOB route to chartership
• A stable and demonstrable track record of successful project delivery
