Source to Contract Manager

Overview

As a Source to Contract Manager, you'll lead strategic procurement initiatives that deliver real value to our business and customers. You'll be at the heart of shaping our five-year Procurement & Supply Chain strategy, building strong relationships across sectors, and driving operational excellence. This is a role where your expertise will make a tangible impact on national security and your career growth.

Day-to-day, you'll be required to:

• Leading Procurement & Supply Chain performance and delivering on our five-year strategy.
• Managing and directing procurement operations across Mission Systems.
• Driving delivery of benefit and savings targets for the business.
• Collating and presenting performance reports for Group and Sector leadership.
• Championing process standardisation and acting as Coupa lead for Group P&SC.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days onsite and days working from home.

• Significant procurement experience, ideally in a project procurement environment, including management experience.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
• Flexible approach to workload and ability to operate at all levels.
• Self-motivated with proven ability to lead and influence in a matrix environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Power BI, IFS, SAP, and Microsoft Office tools.

• Degree‑level qualification and/or relevant engineering, supply chain, or lean culture experience.
• Membership of a professional body such as CIPS Level 5 or above (advantageous but not essential).

Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
