Our General Counsel directorate plays a pivotal role in enabling confident, transparent and accountable decision‐making across the organisation. The Governance team ensures we operate with clarity, integrity and pace, shaping the structures and processes that help the business scale safely and effectively.

We’re looking for a
** Governance Manager
** to support our
** Company Secretary
** and help shape a best‐in‐class governance function. As part of a small, high‐impact team, you’ll strengthen the quality of our statutory compliance, internal governance frameworks and entity management as our organisation scales.
** We’ll need you to lead and enhance governance activity by:
*** Lead end‐to‐end statutory entity management, including maintaining accurate records, statutory registers and Companies House filings.
* Strengthen and embed internal governance frameworks such as Delegations of Authority, Terms of Reference and decision‐making controls.
* Support effective internal governance meetings by coordinating high‐quality papers, tracking decisions, and improving processes and templates.
* Drive continuous improvement across governance documentation, reporting, controls and assurance.

This is a high‐profile role where you’ll bring a collaborative mindset, strong analytical judgement and excellent communication skills, as well as:

Skills & Qualifications
*** A
** CGI Chartered Governance qualification** (fully qualified preferred; part‐qualified considered).
* Experience managing statutory entities, corporate records and governance processes.
* Knowledge of governance frameworks, delegations, compliance controls and company secretarial practices.
* Confidence using governance or board‐portal tools (e.g., Diligent).We anticipate a salary of £63,600.00 - £83,500.00 dependent on the skills, values, and knowledge you bring, alongside a strong benefits package including bonus potential, generous leave, pension, healthcare and ongoing professional development.
