Here at ISS, as leading Facilities Management (FM) provider we are looking to recruit an established HSEQ professional to join our central HSEQ team, taking ownership of HSEQ within the South East region.

In this post, you run your region from a H&S perspective, ensuring our staff based on client sites are working safely, across their service delivery activities, ranging from Engineering to Cleaning.

Client sites range from Retail, Healthcare to Corporate offices.

Please note the Region itself ranges from Kent to Reading and Southampton, but excluding London so there will be travel in the position, along with good home working potential.

This is a fantastic role for a confident HSEQ professional within the Built Environment space, working for a Facilities leader in ISS.

Actions will include:

• Providing practical, proactive HSEQ support that enables operational teams and stakeholders to work safely, efficiently and in adherence to required standards.
• Acting as a trusted partner to regional accounts by supporting, coaching and mentoring teams on HSEQ matters.
• Promoting clear ownership and accountability for HSEQ activities across all stakeholders.
• Collaborating with client counterparts to ensure HSEQ processes meet their expectations, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and maintaining ISS’s internal standards.
• Understanding the risk profile of contracts and proactively identifying and managing significant hazards including statutory compliance, food safety and projects.
• Conducting risk‑based audits to assess compliance with the OneISS Way and drive continuous improvement.
• Leading the investigation lifecycle for high severity incidents and providing governance and oversight for lower level incidents.
• Championing ISS HSEQ campaigns like Safe Spaces and Wellbeing initiatives, to drive engagement and improve safety and wellbeing outcomes.

We need from you:

• Nebosh General qualification as a minimum
• Clear experience of HSEQ, ideally within Facilities/Estates
