About The Role

The Senior Commercial Manager is responsible for the end‑to‑end commercial and financial management of major, complex infrastructure projects, often valued in the hundreds of millions of pounds.

This role covers the full project lifecycle, including project inception, tendering, contract negotiation, procurement strategy, and commercial delivery.

As a core member of the Project and Business Unit senior leadership teams, the Senior Commercial Manager holds full accountability for commercial performance, financial control, and risk management, ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual, commercial, and governance requirements.

The combined value of these projects is circa £1bn, requiring a full‑time, dedicated Senior Commercial Manager in line with the scale, complexity, and commercial demands of the works.

This is a critical leadership role within Power T&D, offering the opportunity to work on nationally significant infrastructure projects and to play a key role in shaping commercial strategy and delivery across the ASTI portfolio.
