Job Overview

Mechanical Project Manager required for an award-winning HVAC company with regional offices throughout the UK. The role will manage projects from initial inception to handover, including site visits, surveys, designs, estimations and quotations, negotiate and purchase materials, supervise labour, commissioning, client training and O&M's. The manager will ensure projects are delivered within budget and on time.

• Manage projects from inception to handover
• Conduct site visits, surveys, designs, estimations and quotations
• Negotiate and purchase materials
• Supervise labour and commissioning
• Provide client training and O&M support
• Ensure projects stay within budget and schedule
• Lead a team of at least 2 direct PAYE Installation Engineers and additional sub‑contractors

• £65,000 – £75,000 (DOE)
• Management bonus scheme

• Minimum 5 years experience managing large‑scale AHU, Chiller, VRV, VRF, Boiler and ventilation projects
• Experience project managing AHUs, VRV/VRF, ducting, boiler and chiller replacements & upgrades
• Technical mastery, strong communication skills, and autonomy
• Experience running projects and managing a team of engineers reporting directly
• Computer literate, proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and MS Project
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong commercial awareness
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good attention to detail
• Contract negotiation skills
• Ideally live in the South East

South East; 50% working from home/office, 50% site based.
