Job Description
We are looking for a Principal Project Manager to join the Office of the Chief Technology & Product Officer (CTPO). This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver high-impact technology and product initiatives that support our wider mission.
You will bring clarity, structure, and momentum to complex projects, helping teams work together effectively and ensuring strong governance across a diverse portfolio.
Responsibilities- Manage complex projects end to end, ensuring successful delivery, by managing planning, reporting, and end-to-end risk and issue management with a structured, and consistent approach.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders, Service Management, Product, Service Design, and suppliers to enable effective collaboration and shared outcomes.
- Provide oversight across the CTPO portfolio, strengthening governance, improving visibility, and supporting informed decision-making.
- Coordinate programme and governance boards, ensuring reporting, escalation, and updates are clear, timely, and transparent for all stakeholders.
- Experience leading complex projects in large, matrixed environments.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and executive leaders.
- A strong track record of delivering end-to-end programmes that create meaningful and lasting impact.
- Confidence in setting up and managing project governance, and risk management across complex delivery environments.
- The ability to bring structure, clarity, and calm to fast-moving and evolving portfolios.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to turn complexity into clear and useful insight for a range of audiences.
Whilst Project Management certifications are desirable, we are mostly interested in your experience.
Compensation and BenefitsSalary from: £70,000
