Role: Team Leader - Serious Injury (RTA)
Location: UK Wide / Fully Remote (Occasional office attendance if required)
Salary: £49,600 - £62,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
CRA Consulting is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading national personal injury practice to recruit a Team Leader within their Serious Injury division. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced personal injury professional to step into a leadership role within a well‑structured, high‑performing team. The firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality outcomes on complex injury claims, whilst maintaining a genuinely supportive and progressive working environment.
You'll be joining a business that invests heavily in its people, systems, and processes—offering clear progression routes and the chance to play a key role in driving team performance, engagement and client outcomes.
- Leading, supervising and developing a team of Serious Injury Fee Earners
- Acting as a technical referral point across a range of RTA claims (typically £25k-£125k)
- Providing end‑to‑end support on litigated and non‑litigated matters
- Conducting file reviews and ensuring strong governance, compliance and case progression
- Coaching and mentoring team members to improve technical ability and performance
- Managing KPIs, productivity and overall team delivery against objectives
- Supporting performance management, including 1‑2‑1s and development plans
- Identifying training needs and working with L&D to upskill the team
- Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, engagement and high performance
- Supporting wider operational strategy and business growth initiatives
- Strong background in personal injury, particularly RTA and serious injury matters
- Proven experience handling claims up to £125k in value
- Experience supervising or mentoring fee earners (ideally Grade C level)
- Confident managing performance, productivity and team KPIs
- Strong technical knowledge across liability and quantum
- Experience working with MI/data to drive performance improvements
- Excellent communication, coaching and leadership skills
- A proactive, organised and solutions‑focused approach
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (desirable but not essential)
- Competitive salary between £49,600 - £62,000
