Responsibilities- Support the successful delivery of risk management services in a consistent, professional manner, exceeding client expectations.
- Implement effective risk management activities to actively reduce risk exposure and uncertainty on projects and programmes.
- Develop and implement risk management approaches and systems for clients, incorporating best practice and procedures.
- Facilitate workshops and engage with project teams to ensure effective implementation of risk management.
- Conduct risk analyses using industry‑recognised software or databases.
- Prepare risk reports summarising outputs to suit the needs of the project or programme.
- Support the development of new risk management processes, procedures, and tools as part of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Assist with business development activities, including the preparation of bids and proposals to secure new commissions.
- Support client engagement and other profile‑raising activities to promote our risk management services.
- A recognised diploma or degree in risk management, or a qualification by experience.
- Experience working on major infrastructure projects in Transportation, Energy, or Infrastructure sectors.
- Demonstrated competency in implementing risk management processes aligned with ISO
31000 and Institute of Risk Management / Association of Project Management methodologies. - Experience facilitating workshops, conducting risk reviews with qualitative scoring, and performing quantitative risk analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with industry risk management tools such as ARM, Xactium, Primavera Risk Analysis, Safran Risk, @Risk, Risk Predict.
- Understanding of the Value Management process and its application on projects.
- Understanding of how risk management integrates with other project management and project controls disciplines.
- Strong communication skills, professional demeanor, and the ability to influence clients and colleagues.
- Analytical thinker with initiative, creativity, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Highly organised, able to prioritise and collaborate across wider teams, and able to work well under pressure.
