About The Role
In the light of the introduction of the Renters Rights Act 2025 the role will be instrumental in leading the Council's approach to meeting the requirements of the new legislation. Initially leading a small team working with other relevant services and organisations, this role will be fundamental in driving forward this significant legal change and ensuring that it is implemented in a legally focused and intelligence driven manner.
The requirements of the role will evolve and develop in line with implementation of different aspects of the legislation.
HHSRS trained with a minimum of three years experience in complex housing enforcement, you will be a self‑motivated housing enforcement professional. Able to work under pressure you can meet deadlines and targets whilst producing work to a high standard. You are able to motivate and train officers sufficiently to ensure that targets are met through the most appropriate action.
