Are you an Employment Tax specialist looking for your next challenge?
Our Employment Tax team in Manchester are growing, and we’re currently seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to join them on their journey.
About the day to day…As a Manager/Senior Manager within our Employment Tax team, you will:
- Lead and advise on a broad range of employment tax issues, including PAYE and NIC, expenses, benefits, and employment status (including IR35)
- Take ownership of client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
- Deliver and review complex technical consultancy work, including reports, advice, and calculations
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities through effective pay and benefits structuring
- Oversee Employment Tax compliance and risk management
- Lead a diverse portfolio of client projects
- Support business development and growth initiatives
- Mentor and develop junior team members
- Contribute to the wider Tax team strategy
In addition to those core values, as a Employment Tax Manager/Senior Manager you should;
- CTA qualified (or equivalent), or qualified by experience
- Strong Employment Tax / Employer Solutions experience
- Experience managing client relationships and leading projects
- Ability to provide clear and commercially focused advice
- Experience mentoring junior staff
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Comfortable managing multiple clients
