Package:
Starting from £47,860 per year (dependent on suitability, qualifications, and level of experience).

Responsibilities- Work with colleagues across the business and external customers to derive requirements and set programme direction.
- Represent the capability area and act as the interface with the customer, national and international partners, and programme delivery colleagues.
- Self‑motivation and initiative to drive progress and implement solutions.
- Chemistry degree or equivalent.
- Ability to analyse scientific, technical and operational problems.
- Ability to communicate complex technical activities to government officials and translate issues for technical communities.
- Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for the subject and ability to enthuse others.
- Commitment to equality of opportunity and good working relationships.
- Hold, or be willing and able to attain, Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
- Planning and managing challenging projects.
- Knowledge of nuclear material cycles (military and civil).
- Presenting complex work to diverse audiences across government and technical organisations.
- Working in a multi‑disciplinary, customer‑facing team delivering technically complex services.
- 9‑day working fortnight – every other Friday off, plus 270 hours of annual leave.
