About the role
Could your vehicle and plant expertise shape the future of public service fleets across the Island? As Fleet Procurement Officer, you'll lead high value vehicle and plant procurement projects from specification through to delivery. Working with Fleet Users, suppliers and colleagues across Government, you'll develop detailed specifications, manage tender exercises, oversee contracts and budgets, and ensure every asset meets operational requirements, regulatory standards and delivers best value.
From Heavy Goods Vehicles and Municipal Plant to Blue Light Response vehicles, you'll influence how critical assets are sourced, built and supported.
Take ownership of projects that leave a lasting impact. Combining technical challenge with strategic responsibility, this role gives you the opportunity to influence major investment decisions, work with manufacturers and suppliers across the world, and help drive a modern, standardised fleet. You'll use your expertise to guide procurement projects, build strong partnerships and play a key role in supporting essential public services throughout the Island.
