The successful Associate Director
- Building Control will take on a dual strategic and operational position, combining senior leadership responsibilities with team management and hands-on project delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Associate Director

The Associate Director - Building Control's Role
The Associate Director - Building Control will lead and develop a team of Registered Building Inspectors while overseeing the consistent delivery of high-quality Building Control, fire safety and associated consultancy services.
Alongside contributing to business strategy, the Associate Director
- Building Control will manage their own portfolio of clients and projects. The Associate Director
- Building Control will also support operational performance, workload planning, technical standards and team development.
Responsibilities will include:
Contributing to the strategic direction of the business
Managing, mentoring and developing a team of Building Inspectors
Overseeing workloads, performance and service delivery
Acting as the Registered Building Inspector for allocated projects
Maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
Supporting the growth of Building Control and consultancy services
Ensuring projects meet regulatory and professional standards
Balancing commercial objectives with technical delivery
The Associate Director - Building Control
The successful Associate Director - Building Control will have extensive Building Control experience and a strong understanding of current Building Safety Regulator requirements.
Registered Building Inspector at Class 3G or 3H
Strong Building Control experience
Proven leadership or team management experience
Relevant professional qualification with CABE, RICS or equivalent
Strong commercial and client management skills
Excellent technical, organisational and decision-making ability
Confident balancing strategic leadership with project delivery
