We're looking for a Bid Manager to join our Facilities Management team, reporting to the Growth Director
Location: Basingstoke, London, Sheffield or Cardiff - remote working from home available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: Full time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
As a Bid Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping and winning exciting Hard FM and Total Facilities Management opportunities. Working closely with our operational, commercial and bid teams, you'll develop compelling solutions that meet client needs whilst ensuring they're operationally deliverable and commercially sound. This is an excellent opportunity to build meaningful client relationships, contribute to strategic growth, and make a real impact on how we deliver facilities management services across multiple sectors.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Bid Manager, you'll be working within our Regional Operations and Facilities Management teams, supporting them in winning sustainable contracts. Your day to day will include:
- Building and maintaining a qualified pipeline across key sectors including local and central government, healthcare, higher education, and commercial estates
- Leading our opportunity qualification criteria, ensuring alignment with our capabilities and strategic objectives
- Collaborating with our operational teams to develop credible service solutions covering maintenance, compliance, and asset management
- Working alongside commercial teams to complete pricing models
- Building trusted relationships with client stakeholders and ensuring smooth handovers into mobilisation and delivery
What are we looking for?
This role of Bid Manager is great for you if:
- You have proven experience in business development, work winning or bid shaping within Hard engineering services and building services
- You can demonstrate a successful track record of contributing to or leading FM bids and contract awards
- You have commercial awareness with experience contributing to pricing, risk assessment and value propositions
- You're a confident communicator with strong written skills, able to translate client requirements into clear, deliverable solutions
