Options Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced Facilities Management Supervisor to join a busy Facilities Management team based in Central London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FM professional with strong leadership skills to oversee the day-to-day delivery of facilities services across a multi-site estate. The successful candidate will ensure high service standards, compliance and operational efficiency while supporting the wider Facilities Management team.
The role is primarily office-based in Central London (W1), operating on a hybrid working pattern of four days in the office and one day working from home. There will also be occasional travel to sites as required.
The Role
Oversee the day-to-day delivery of reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and project works.
Coordinate Facilities Management activities to ensure work is prioritised and completed within agreed service levels.
Supervise and support Facilities team members, providing coaching, guidance and performance management.
Allocate workloads and monitor team performance against KPIs.
Act as the escalation point for operational issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
Support senior management with departmental planning, reporting and operational delivery.
Lead the Facilities team in the absence of senior management.
Monitor supplier and contractor performance, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to the required standards.
Arrange contractor visits, obtain quotations and ensure value for money.
Oversee the effective use of the CAFM system, ensuring jobs are accurately logged, monitored and completed.
Ensure purchase orders and invoices are processed accurately and in line with company procedures.
Support departmental budget control and cost management.
Maintain Health & Safety compliance and ensure all statutory requirements are met.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external contractors.
Respond efficiently to urgent maintenance issues and support continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements
Minimum of 5 years' experience within Facilities Management in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
Strong understanding of reactive maintenance, PPM and contractor management.
Experience using CAFM systems is desirable.
Good knowledge of FM helpdesk operations.
Retail or property sector experience is advantageous.
Sound understanding of Health & Safety legislation and compliance.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
