The Beef Shorthorn Cattle Society is seeking a bold, forward-thinking, digitally savvy professional with a genuine passion for pedigree cattle and a deep understanding of the UK livestock industry.

As Breed Director, you will lead the promotion and development of pedigree and commercial Beef Shorthorn cattle across the UK. You'll be equally comfortable influencing progressive farmers, new breeders, industry sceptics, journalists and government bodies, while embracing technology and innovation to improve services and performance.

Key priorities will include:

• Growing Society membership and income.
• Increasing performance recording and data-driven decision making.
• Raising the profile and commercial value of Beef Shorthorn cattle.
• Building strong relationships across the livestock sector.
• Delivering the Society's strategic vision and future growth.

Reporting to the Vice President, this is an outstanding opportunity to shape the future of an iconic British breed and leave a lasting legacy.
