Your Role:

Do you want to make a difference and be part of life changing achievements?

As a Team Leader you will lead a large team within a supported living property for individuals with learning disabilities to excel in their life and be the best that they can be.

You will oversee daily operations, ensuring person centred support plans are implemented effectively for residents. This includes creating plans through an asset-based approach, focusing on individual’s unique gifts, goals and aspirations.

A lead support worker will also support the team leader manage a diverse workforce, providing training, guidance and support to ensure high quality care.

Supported Living Properties are regulated by the Care Quality Commission and the Team Leader will ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.

About you:

You should have a good understanding of recognising people for their skills, abilities and have a willingness for people to progress. You will have experience of working with people that may require positive support and ensure that you bring a solution focused attitude that promotes the growth of customers and the staff team that you will manage. Experience of effectively implementing systems and processes that will support continuous improvement of the service.

You should exhibit strong empathy, patience and excellent communication skills to connect with customers, carers, professionals and team members. You should have leadership qualities, demonstrating decisiveness, and the ability to motivate a large team. You should be positive, accountable, courageous and kind.
