We have brought together a team of 180 consultants and engineers with deep expertise across asset management, intelligent mobility, smart technology, and digital and data solutions within the transport environment. This newly formed, externally facing business is designed to align closely with our clients' evolving needs, while creating fresh opportunities for our people to grow, develop, and thrive as part of a collaborative and innovative practice.
Discipline
As a Senior Consultant in our Intelligent Mobility team, you'll help clients tackle complex transport challenges through the application of intelligent transport systems, digital technologies and innovative mobility solutions. Working across a range of projects for clients including National Highways, local authorities and transport operators, you'll combine technical expertise, project leadership and stakeholder engagement to deliver successful outcomes. You'll play an important role in developing client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional work and supporting the growth of our IT&I business while helping to develop the next generation of consultants.
Your roleThis role combines project delivery, client engagement and technical consultancy, supporting our clients in delivering better transport outcomes while contributing to the continued growth of our IT&I practice.
- Deliver Intelligent Mobility and transport technology projects, ensuring quality, programme and commercial objectives are achieved while meeting client expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and delivery partners, developing trusted advisor status and identifying opportunities for follow-on work.
- Support the development of proposals and bids for existing clients, helping to secure repeat business and grow key accounts.
- Lead project management activities, including programme planning, resource management, risk management, budget control and commercial reporting.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions where established approaches may not always exist.
- Provide technical input and guidance across Intelligent Mobility, transport technology and digital transformation projects.
- Mentor and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and helping to develop their technical, consulting and project management capabilities.
- A genuine desire to mentor, support and develop junior colleagues, contributing to a positive and high-performing team culture.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, identifying new ideas and opportunities to enhance project delivery, client service and business performance.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across client organisations, partners and internal teams.
- Proven experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary environments to deliver successful project outcomes.

- Experience of project management and commercial delivery, including cost forecasting, budget control and resource planning.
