About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Cryptocurrency Exchange Operations Manager to lead their remote operational team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth, secure, and efficient functioning of their digital asset trading platform. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in the fast-paced crypto market. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to manage critical functions from anywhere in the world while contributing to a leading platform in the blockchain industry.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cryptocurrency exchange, including trading, settlements, and customer support functions.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and security.
- Manage risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and KYC/AML standards.
- Monitor market activity, identify potential issues, and implement timely solutions.
- Collaborate with the technology team to troubleshoot platform issues and implement system enhancements.
- Lead and mentor a remote team of operations specialists.
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the financial services or cryptocurrency industry.
- Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, trading platforms, and blockchain technology.
- Proven experience in risk management, compliance, and regulatory adherence (KYC/AML).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing remote teams and distributed operations.
