About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmaceutical Project Manager to oversee key development and commercialization projects in East London . This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through completion. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical product lifecycle. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to balance on-site collaboration with remote work.
- Lead and manage pharmaceutical projects, including drug development, regulatory submissions, and product launches.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and report on project status to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to project methodologies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex projects within the drug development or commercialization space.
- Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical product lifecycle, regulatory affairs, and R&D processes.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
