Inspection and Improvement Team Manager Hybrid Working Full-Time 37 hours a week Salary: £51,356 – £54,495

As Inspection and Improvement Team Manager you will play a key role in driving excellence across Children's Services, leading activity that supports continuous improvement, quality assurance and inspection readiness.

You will provide leadership and oversight for the development, implementation and monitoring of improvement activity, ensuring that services deliver high-quality, child-centred practice and achieve positive outcomes for children, young people and families. Through effective performance management and quality assurance processes, you will help evaluate the impact of practice, identify areas for development and support the delivery of sustainable improvements.

Working closely with operational managers, practitioners and strategic partners, you will coordinate inspection preparation, monitor progress against improvement plans and ensure learning from audits, reviews, feedback and inspections is embedded across services. You will promote a culture of accountability, reflection and learning, supporting services to achieve and maintain high standards.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated manager with a strong understanding of children's social care, safeguarding, performance management and quality assurance. You will bring excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills, alongside the ability to interpret data, evaluate practice and drive improvement across complex services.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring Children's Services are well prepared for inspection and continue to deliver high-quality support to children and families. Through effective leadership, you will champion a culture of continuous improvement, helping services to build on strengths, address challenges and achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
