We are currently seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join a major infrastructure programme, supporting the successful delivery of complex, high-value projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a planning professional with strong programme controls expertise, extensive scheduling experience, and the ability to work across multiple projects within a fast-paced project environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, manage, and maintain complex project and programme schedules.
- Analyse programme performance and identify critical path risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.
- Produce planning reports, dashboards, and progress updates for senior stakeholders.
- Lead planning workshops and collaborate with project teams to establish robust delivery plans.
- Support project controls activities and promote planning best practice.
- Review contractor schedules and provide programme-related analysis.
- Mentor and support planning resources across the programme.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning methodologies, reporting, and governance.
- Proven experience as a Planning Manager or Senior Planner on large-scale infrastructure, engineering, or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of project controls and programme management principles.
- Extensive experience using Primavera P6
. - Ability to develop and analyse critical path schedules.
- Experience working within NEC contract environments
. - Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience producing programme reports and performance analysis for senior leadership.
- Long-term 6-month rolling contract with strong extension potential.
