Lead Project Manager - Business Operations

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic Lead Project Manager to drive operational excellence and strategic initiatives in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. • Lead and manage a portfolio of complex business operations projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project strategies, roadmaps, and detailed implementation plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Mentor and guide a team of project managers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring project success.
• Oversee resource allocation, budget management, and risk mitigation strategies for all assigned projects.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Implement best practices in project management and operational improvement methodologies.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior capacity managing business operations projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects that drive significant operational improvements.
• Strong understanding of business process analysis, optimization and change management principles.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and methodologies (Agile, Lean, Six Sigma).
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is highly advantageous.
