Area Manager, Management Operations Management

Location: London, M25 & surrounding areas

Salary: Up to £65,000 + £5,000 car allowance + 10% bonus

Working pattern: 3 days field-based / 2 days working from home

We are looking for an experienced Area Coach to join a globally recognised consumer brand
, supporting a diverse portfolio of franchised locations across London, the M25 and surrounding areas.

This is a senior, field-based multi-site role working closely with franchise partners and their operational teams to improve performance, strengthen standards and drive sustainable commercial results across the estate.

The portfolio includes a mix of single-site and multi-site franchise operators, including larger franchise groups with significant numbers of locations. As a result, this role requires someone who is already highly experienced in managing performance across multiple sites and is confident operating at Area Coach, Area Manager or Franchise Business Manager level.

This is not a step-up opportunity from a single-site General Manager role. We are specifically looking for candidates who already have proven multi-site leadership experience and who can demonstrate success in coaching, influencing and improving performance across a group of locations.

As Area Coach, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and commercial performance across your territory.

You will work closely with franchise owners, multi-site operators and store leadership teams, using data, site visits and business reviews to identify opportunities, challenge performance and support continuous improvement.

This is a highly field-focused role, and while the working pattern is structured around approximately three days in the field and two days working from home, the ideal candidate will naturally enjoy spending significant time in stores and with franchise partners.

• Coaching and supporting franchise partners and operational teams across a multi-site portfolio.
• Driving improvements in sales, profitability, operational standards and customer experience.
• Reviewing store and territory performance data to identify trends, opportunities and areas of concern.
• Conducting regular site visits, operational reviews and business performance meetings.
• Developing and agreeing clear action plans with franchisees and multi-site operators.
• Challenging underperformance in a constructive and commercially focused way.
• Supporting franchise partners with labour management, sales growth, cost control and business planning.
• Driving consistency and best practice across the territory.
• Ensuring brand standards and operational expectations are maintained.
• Supporting the implementation of new initiatives, operational programmes and wider business priorities.
• Building strong, credible relationships with franchise partners and their leadership teams.
• Working cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve issues and improve performance.

You are likely to currently be working, or have recently worked, as an:

• Area Coach
• Area Manager
• Franchise Business Manager
• Multi-Site Operations Manager
• Or in a comparable role with responsibility for multiple locations

You will ideally have experience within a franchise-led, restaurant, QSR, hospitality, food service or retail environment.

To be clear, candidates whose experience is currently limited to managing a single location at General Manager or Store Manager level are unlikely to have the level of multi-site experience required for this position.
