Senior Commercial Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Commercial Project Manager to lead high-value commercial projects from their Vereeniging base. This role requires exceptional strategic planning and execution capabilities to manage complex commercial ventures, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction. You will be responsible for all facets of project delivery, including financial oversight, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in commercial project management, strong negotiation skills, and a dedication to delivering superior results within a dynamic business environment, working with global clients.

• Manage the full project lifecycle for commercial ventures, from initial feasibility studies to final project completion and handover.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, budget allocation, and resource planning.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners to secure favorable terms.
• Oversee project finances, including cost control, financial reporting, and profitability analysis.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and project risks, ensuring business objectives are met.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial project management , with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong understanding of commercial law, contract management, and financial principles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets and complex stakeholder groups.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• PMP or similar certification is highly desirable.
