Remote Financial Controller

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Remote Financial Controller to lead their finance operations. This senior position is fully remote and requires a leader capable of overseeing all accounting functions, financial planning, and reporting from a distance. You will be instrumental in maintaining financial discipline, driving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with global financial standards. • Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams remotely, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and analysis to senior management and the board.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CA(SA) or equivalent professional qualification is mandatory.
• A minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years in a Controller or similar leadership role.
• Extensive experience with financial reporting standards (IFRS), budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Proven ability to manage and lead remote teams effectively.
