About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Remote Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee their distribution network from anywhere within South Africa . This position is central to maintaining the efficiency and integrity of our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure high levels of inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction.

This fully remote role requires a results-driven leader with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage teams and operations effectively without direct physical supervision, leveraging technology and clear communication.

• Develop, implement, and manage operational strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping processes.
• Manage and mentor remote warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to align operations with business objectives.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, with a significant portion in a remote or dispersed team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage operations and staff effectively from a distance.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, suited for a remote setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
